Wow … we have done it this time! A request was made for some lip balm with lanolin in it. We searched for a recipe, couldn’t find one with lanolin already in it. So, we tweaked another recipe and came up with this one.

We made a Tea Tree-Lavender flavor for our Open House and it was wildly popular. Men and women rave about it!

Our lip balms are *scented* with flavor oils. We say scented because we do not add sweetener to these so the flavor is quite sublte. These are sophisticated for adults rather than sweet for kids. That said, the Chocolate Cream, Dreamsicle and Cotton Candy have sweetener added from our supplier otherwise they would be bitter.

Ingredients: Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Elaesis guineensis (Palm) Oil, beeswax, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter and either Essential oils or flavor oils.

Wow! This stuff is *fantastic*. This balm contains Emu oil, which is known for being able to deeply penetrate several layers of skin without clogging pores. Emu oil traditionally is known to reduce stiffness, swelling, and pain as well as having many healing and regenerating qualities. It also contains unrefined Shea butter, which African healers have used for thousands of years as the ideal treatment for dry or aging skin. It’s high content of fatty acids gives it the ability to moisturize and retain the elasticity of the skin.

The light scent of lavender and tea tree essential oils also add healing properties.

A friend is using this and softens it just a titch in the microwave for easier spreading. But ONLY just a moment or two. She feels it is helping the arthritis in her hands.

I am using this on my feet, which have dry, cracked heels. After just a few days of use, I can see a *noticeable* difference.
