Our full-sized soaps are a generous size – at least 4 ounces each, with most of them more than 5 ounces! If the bars are smaller, it will be noted in the description.

Our soaps are hand-cut for a more rustic look. We no longer bevel edges (round them out). We find they smooth out after a few uses. You can even squish them against your tile if you wanted to while they are wet.

All soaps are ready to use once they are posted; however, some will benefit from some extra curing time to extend the life of the soap. To cure your soap, just leave it sitting out in the open air. As time passes, the bar will get harder and thus will last longer. All curing dates are listed on the bottom of each soap.

We have hit upon a soap recipe that we just love! If we vary from it for a particular batch of soap, the ingredients will be listed on that soap. Our castile soaps have only olive oil, castor oil, water and sodium hydroxide. Our two high-shea butter soaps have olive, shea, water and sodium hydroxide. Our main recipe is: Rice bran oil, palm oil, palm kernel oil, distilled water, sodium hydroxide, palm kernel oil, fragrance oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, castor oil, silk fibers. Our essential oil soaps contain essential oils and most soaps contain either oxides and/or micas.

Since our soaps are handcrafted, in small batches, right in our kitchen, there will be variations from batch to batch. No two bars in the same batch will look the same and no two batches will ever be exactly the same. This is part of the beauty and charm of handcrafted items.
