We experienced a major crash in July 2007 … even though the database said it was from July, 2007, when it was restored it was actually from January. :sob: Please feel free to review and rate products once again. I think we are safe from further crashes.

Body Brilliance Bars
Wonderful! I received the sandalwood Body Brilliance bar, and I’m in love! Works great; just like a scrub, but without the mess. The scent lingers, both in the bathroom and on my skin.

Lotion
As a self proclaimed SOAP A HOLIC, I shopped at the Soap and Potions at the Troy Open House last Saturday. My only mistake in shopping there was I DIDNT BUY ENOUGH LOTION! Now I got the Two oz. bottle of LOVE SPELL and I cant leave it alone! I gotta have more! It is the superest ever! Goes on nice, not sticky or greasy, just perfetto!

Lotion
One of my winter traditions is stocking up on these lotions, and giving them as gifts. I like that they don’t contain alcohol or petroleum products, and really do moisturize my dry winter skin much better than anything I’ve used previously. I buy the 2 oz sizes to take with me. I enjoy a variety of fragrances, but many have commented on liking the “Summer Fling” fragrance and “Vanilla Buttercream” (although my mother said she wanted fragrances other than food, since those made her hungry!)

Soothing Clary Sage Bar
Beautiful Scent – a real mood lifter!! Nice feel too!

Pumpkin Pie Bar
We started using this one in early September. My 12 yr old daughter tried it first and said, Mom, its like a quick scent of Thanksgiving at any time.

Guinness and Rum Bar
My husband wasn’t sure about using a scented soap. This one changed his mind. Manly without being too much.

Carnival Bar
My girls can’t get enough of this scent. It’s a great reminder of summer without being too strong.

Soothing Clary Sage Bar
What a great clean scent this soap has! It’s perfect after a long day at the office or anytime you just feel the need to wind down!

Muscle Rub
Last night, the top of my foot was aching BADLY … I think arthritis … I put some Emu Oil Muscle Rub on it, rubbed it in with the other foot — now you can’t massage a bone — and it stopped hurting, really quick … even I, as a die-hard fan, was surprised. The aromatics freshen the air, and help clear my eternally stuffy nose as a bonus!

Pumpkin Pie Bar
Barbara has outdone herself with this one. Its appearance is exquisite–look at the creamy topping! The scent is just divine: I’m 10 again, my grandma is still alive, and I am digging into her perfect pumpkin pie with a little whipped cream on top. Some might like to put this soap out for company in the Fall so guests can gush over it. I’m more of a hoard-it-year-round kind of gal, though.

Turkish Mocha Bar
I have a confession to make: My nose is usually not sensitive enough to pick up all the notes Barbara describes, especially in a soap with more than two. But with this soap’s scent, I can actually detect the many notes she describes. This smells just incredible; you will not regret getting this soap (but allow for extra time when you shower or bathe; you will find it hard to tear yourself away from the Turkish Mocha experience). Now I need to get a mug of something that tastes like this smells into my hand!

London Lemon Curd Bar
I love this bar! The scent is a soft, dreamy lemon smell that puts me in mind of one of those creamy, lemony desserts that my aunts make for reunions and I eat to excess.

Dreamsicle Bar
The Best Soap Ever! I love so many of Barbara’s soaps, but for me this is the winner. It cperfectly aptures the orange and the vanilla creaminess. My 13yo son sniffed it, raved, and began recounting every time he has had a Creamsicle over the course of his life–LOL.

Chocolate Espresso Bar
My son, to my daughter: “Stay away from my soap!”
My daughter, to my son: “It is MINE. No way are you getting this soap.”
Me, to both of them: “Actually, it is my soap, and neither of you are getting it.”
In the end, we worked out a deal that let each of the three of us get his or her absolute favorite. When you get this soap in your hands, you will understand our behavior. It’s gorgeous–a work of art–and the scent makes you feel like you’re leaning over a decadent mocha latte slathered with whipped cream (and of course a sprinkle of cocoa.

Island Getaway Bar
This soap is way cool. I love that it has a scrubby part, and the color is awesome. The scent makes you feel as though you have some exotic drink in your hand as you lounge poolside. Mmmmm.

Lotion
I love this lotion! I have sensitive skin and cannot tolerate many lotions. My favorite is the vanilla buttercream. It reminds me of cake icing 🙂

Dreamsicle Bar
I just got this soap and it is amazing! It truly does smell like a dreamsicle! It is my new favorite. I love all of Barbara’s soaps, because they don’t irritate my skin and they last forever!

Pumpkin Pie Bar
One of the best-smelling bars available, reminiscent of the sweet end of a holiday dinner – almost good enough to eat!

Lotion
This is by far one of my favorite lotions, especially the raspberry – yum! It smells divine, of course, but the big selling point is how it soaks into one’s skin easily, with no greasy feeling. I usually ask for it in jars for a bit extra, because I love being able to dip my finger in for “just a dab” throughout the day. And my sons absolutely adore getting their nightly foot rubs with this lotion!

Soothing Clary Sage Bar
This is a wonderful blend of essential oils which really helps me get through my cycles with less anguish! I’ve given some bars to my friends, too. It is one of the simple luxuries that I find to be indispensible in a woman’s life. Thank you for making such a wonderful product!

Vanilla Buttercream Bar
Beware of using this soap when you need to take a QUICK shower and get somewhere on time. It’s so delightful that you’ll find yourself sniffing it over and over just to say “AHHHH” afterward. It really lives up to its name, as you can enjoy both the vanilla and the buttery creaminess.

Sleigh Bells Bar
Another winner! I remember reading about the notes in the soap and wondering how they could blend into a pleasing fragrance. They do–wonderfully! You will love this soap anytime you use it. It’s also a work of art.

Mulled Cider Bar
My favorite scent! It definitely says “autumn,” with the apple and spice scents (it reminds me of Halloween parties!), but is so pleasing that it is a nice soap year-round.

Energy Bar
What a great bar of soap! The scent energizing, just right for a morning shower or bath. What I loved most about the soap, though, is the appearance. The colors and the swirling are so upbeat.

Carnival Bar
This scent is just gorgeous. I wasn’t sure what to expect with it. It’s very light and sweet-smelling, but with a clean sweetness that’s not overdone at all. Hard to describe but very pleasant. Everyone in my house instantly fell in love with the scent.

Witches Brew Bar
Last autumn I put these in my bathroom that guests use, and so many people commented on the yummy and beautiful soap we had and how perfect it is for fall. I think it would be nice anytime, however. For me the scent was more of a four- than a five-star scent (only because there are several others I love a little more–scent preferences are such a strange and personal thing), but the appearance and performance bring it up to five.

Lotion
We use Barbara’s lotions exclusively, because, well, any other just feels like rubbing on water in comparison. Luxurious softness, heavenly scents … we feel like royalty.

Sleigh Bells Bar
Do NOT put this away with the winter stuff … It is too incredibly delicious! The girls and I love the sweetness, and I especially enjoy that it is minty. Just a lovely bar to look at, pastel colors are beautifully and uniquely swirled. ‘Tis a treat to your senses and your skin-any season, including a summer cooling shower.

Vanilla Buttercream Bar
Sara has always been a vanilla girl … so we have had a lot of vanillas around our house, but none as sweet and rich as this … Liz was also entranced and became a fan … we have gone through tons of this special soap!!

Lovespell Bar
SIGH! Lovespell, I remember when we girls first met you! It was a Valentine’s Day or thereabouts, you were in tiny hearts. Now you have grown to be sparkly and more beautiful! Fell in love right there, and forever.
(Going to have to say this is #1 all time favorite in our house!)

Island Getaway Bar
This soap is a work of art; it is gorgeous… it looks like the feeling I get when at the shore, that peace and calm that being near the ocean can give. Plus a definitely tasty tropical scent!

Goat’s Milk Castile Bar
Yummy – both this and the plain castile are super moisturizing, but I love the way this one smells, like old fashioned cooked pudding, I think.

Body Brilliance Bars
Don’t EVER stop making these, please?!
The favorite request wafting out of the shower-“Mom, can you scrub my back?” means Barbara’s BBB is being requested. Once in awhile I get the girls to return the favor, such a great back scrub! For the rest of me, I scrub with the bar a bit, but then put it out of the shower to dry, and rub in all the rest before I’m done.

Roll-on Perfumes
Liz, Sara & I have a variety of favorite “flavors” …they go on smoothly and the scent truly lasts! (We are a vanilla buttercream and lovespell fan club.)

Barbara’s Tub Truffles
Barbara’s Tub Truffles smell and look so delicious you’ll be tempted to eat them – but do not! Our skin feels wonderfully soft afterward.

Gift Certificates
Got myself in trouble with Christina … I ordered some things for her and added a gift certificate for her birthday last year – she told me I didn’t leave anything for her to buy with it! Barbara came to the rescue and created more goodies!

Muscle Rub
Sara, Liz and I cannot be without the emu balm muscle rub. The scents alone are soothing even without putting it on sore muscles. We all store tension in shoulders and neck, and no amount of massage is ever too much. The muscle rub makes getting the soreness relieved so much more quickly, and more effectively. The little bit left over on my hands after the back rub helps my carpal tunnel and arthritis pain. Later, we still smell so good. Don’t rub eyes with this on your hands … learned that the hard way!

Emu Balm
My daughter in FL has gotten a great response in improving her psoriasis by using the emu balm … got a call one evening – “Mom can you please get me more of the emu stuff??” FL weather isn’t kind to melty things, and her little pot of it left in her car had liqufied all over. NOW she has a supply of the big jars.

Soap Sacks
SUPER helpful; you need not chase the soap around the shower because it doesn’t escape … from your hands OR from the sack. Also terrific for collecting small soap scraps to get every last bubble and whiff of fragrance out of Barbara’s delicious soaps.

Soothing Clary Sage Bar
Awesome, indescribable blend of scents: REALLY rich! I gave this as a gift for a friend who has been having a rough time recently, she truly enjoyed it!
